Hi, I’m Kristina and am the lead gardener at KJ Gardening.  I studied horticulture in the Horticultural and Landscape Technician programs at Niagara College and have been gardening for public and private gardens for 9 years.

In 2017, I obtained my Four Seasons Permaculture Design certificate from the Living Arts Centre in London, which focuses on sustainably grown food gardens that utilize every level from canopy to ground cover.  

I believe in using ecological gardening methods to restore habitats to wildlife, including beneficial insects and songbirds, and try to use native plants whenever they are suitable.  My mission is to make urban gardens attractive and biodiverse sanctuaries where city dwellers can refresh their spirits.
